ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Valley Saves Week kicked off on Saturday at the Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s annual spring cookout at the EnVision Center.
The United Way of Virginia’s Blue Ridge and Bank on Roanoke Valley host the week’s events and classes each year in partnership with America Saves Week, a nationwide effort to improve financial literacy and promote good spending habits to help families save.
