ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!
On Tuesday, April 7, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Santana to the WFXR News Studio.
Three-year-old Santana is looking for his forever home. This 68-pound boy is energetic, lovable, and sociable. He loves to play, especially with his toys!
Whether it’s playing in the park or riding in the car, Santana loves being out and about. He has enjoyed RCACP’s Roanoke Adventure Dogs (RAD) trips and would love to tag along on your next journey.
Furry Friends: Prissy and Bucky are the sweetest pair!
Santana gets along with most other dogs, but RCACP recommends a meet-and-greet with any additional pets in the household. He has also done well with children, but would do better with older children due to his size and fondness for toys.
