ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Record heat is possible on Wednesday as high pressure at the upper levels of the atmosphere remains overhead. Roanoke and Lynchburg are expected to see high temperatures within a degree of previous records. Blacksburg is expected to exceed the prior record by three degrees. Danville is expected to tie.
