BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) – The Town of Bedford and Bedford County will lose millions of dollars in annual state funding when a 15-year reversion deal expires July 1, 2028.
The town and county have been receiving the funds since 2013, when Bedford completed a reversion process that changed it from an independent city to a town within Bedford County. The move helped the town significantly improve its financial situation.
