Victor, N.Y. — A golf tournament to benefit the Rochester Ataxia Foundation is taking place on Saturday at Victor Hills.
Organizers say the purpose of the event is to get the word out about Ataxia, which is a rare neurodegenerative disease similar to Parkinson’s, and to raise funds for research hospitals with the hope they can come up with a treatment for people diagnosed with Ataxia.
