ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A family project years in the making is headed to Lego shelves around the world.
Jason Middaugh, who has ties to the Rochester area, helped design a Lego version of the house from “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” After earning 10,000 supporters through the Lego Ideas program, the project was approved by Lego and will become an official set.
Middaugh told News 8’s Gio Battaglia for “Behind the Curtain” the journey began about 10 years ago, when he set out to show his daughter, Jane, that they could accomplish something that seemed impossible.
