PENFIELD, N.Y. (WROC) – The town of Penfield hosted its annual Independence Day celebration beginning with a parade Saturday morning. The parade started at Penfield High School and ended at Penfield Community Center on Baird Road.
After the parade the town will host an evening of family fun including live music featuring headliner The Morgan Twins, food vendors, and fireworks at Harris Whalen Park starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks will be launched at 10 p.m.
The parade featured dozens of community groups and organizations, and the music of Prime Time Brass, Penfield Fire Company Band, Towpath Volunteer Fife & Drum Corps, and more. Terry Clifford, formerly of 92.5 WBEE, served as the parade emcee.
