ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that beginning Monday, August 3, West Henrietta Road between East River Road and Crittenden Boulevard in the town of Brighton will be reduced to a single lane in each direction to accommodate a pavement project from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Work will begin at East River Road and move southward. The project is anticipated to be complete by Friday, August 7.
Motorists should anticipate travel delays and are advised to seek alternate routes. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
