Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — The ESL Rochester Fringe Festival kicked off Tuesday, beginning nearly two weeks of performances and attractions across the city.
At the corner of Main and Gibbs streets, One Fringe Place, the festival’s central hub, opened Tuesday evening with food, drinks, film screenings and performances. It is also home to the festival’s Spiegeltent — one of just 38 in the world, according to Fringe organizers.
“We have a few different shows that have sold out, including Cirque du Fringe: Anchors Away, here in the Spiegeltent,” CEO Erica Fee told 13WHAM. “This is a Vegas-style cabaret and circus show.”…
