Father charged in one-year-old’s overdose death

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A father was charged with manslaughter Friday after the death of his one-year-old daughter in Rochester.

Police said Dianelis Brito ingested a mixture of cocaine and fentanyl and died on January 30 at the Chatham Gardens Apartments.

Her father Dillon Brito, 31, was arrested and accused of leaving the drugs out, and trying to conceal evidence that the drugs caused his daughter’s death.

Dillon Brito was arrested January 30 on an outstanding warrant for failing to pay a fine in Genesee County. The mugshot below is from that arrest.
