Tioga, Pa. — A 34-year-old New York woman was stopped and arrested after police reportedly found drug paraphernalia in her car.
Heather Derooy, 34, of North Chili, NY, was pulled over by state police on US Route 15 as she headed northbound in Tioga Township on Feb. 2. Although police don’t list the initial reason for the traffic stop, they did find drug paraphernalia in her 2001 Jaguar and discovered she had a warrant out of NY.
Court records show Derooy was arrested in Genessee County, NY, in April for possession of methamphetamine, aggravated unlicensed operation, and improper plates, after allegedly driving with an improper license plates and a suspended license.
After being stopped by PSP, Derooy was taken to Tioga County Prison.
