Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) – The Rochester area is preparing for a massive number of visitors, traveling here to get a better view of the 2024 total solar eclipse. “On April 8, 2024, the greater Rochester region will get to experience a total solar eclipse for the first time since 1925,” said Debra Ross, who chairs Rochester’s task force for the eclipse. “We’re expecting hundreds and thousands of visitors to this region on this day.
