With over 7,000 votes, Hannah Governor is the Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Girls Sports Athlete of the Week.
The Williamson sophomore helped the school’s indoor track team win the Wayne-Finger Lakes Division 1 Championship and continued her climb toward the group of top distance runners in Section V. The 2023 Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Cross Country Team member won the 1,000-, 1,500- and 3,000-meter races at Rochester Institute of Technology.
During the winter season, the polls launch on Mondays at democratandchronicle.com to determine the Athlete of the Week from the previous week’s top performances.
