ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Lollypop Farm is investigating an incident involving dead animals being left outside Eastman Dental earlier this week.
According to Lollypop Farm, Humane Law Enforcement Investigators were called to Eastman Dental when the bodies of two goats and a chicken were found. There were some items also at the scene that seemed to suggest that this could have been religious.
They added that they do not have any suspects at this time and that this is an active investigation.
The Director of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Eli Eliav released a statement about the incident as well.
“ Yesterday morning remains of two dismembered goats and a chicken were found on the front lawn of our building on the corner of Elmwood Ave and East Drive. The Department of Public Safety was called immediately and the Humane Society quickly removed the remains. It is believed that the animals were destroyed elsewhere. This is an upsetting situation, especially for our patients and employees who were subjected to seeing it. It’s important to note that this is an isolated incident and have no reason to believe it is linked to Eastman Dental in any way. “
