Deputies then performed a traffic stop near mile marker 117 and met with the vehicle’s two occupants, one of whom was identified as Richard Marrapese, 24, of Rochester, New York, deputies said.

A K-9 unit was then deployed to perform a free air sniff in the area of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive indication for the presence of narcotics; a search of the vehicle was then performed, during which time deputies found 43.25 grams of marijuana in Marrapese’s backpack, according to the complaint.
