ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating an armed car robbery on Harvard Street Sunday night.
According to RPD, just after 9:30 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of Harvard Street for the report of an armed robbery. The victim, a 24-year-old Rochester resident said he saw the group of suspects attempting to steal his parked vehicle on the street and tried to stop them.
Police said weapons were threatened and displayed before the suspects stole the car and drove toward Oxford Street. The car is described as a black, four-door Hyundai sedan.
Police said this is an active investigation and asked for anyone with information to call 911. Residents are reminded not to approach a suspected stolen vehicle.
