ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman is facing gun and drug charges that started with a shooting on Glide Street, according to the Rochester Police Department.
On Friday, officers responded to the 1000 block of Glide Street around 7 a.m. They said there was a domestic fight before the suspect fired a handgun at the victim and ran into a house. No one was hit or injured.
After surrounding the house, RPD arrested 24-year-old Xiara Fernandez. Investigators searched the home and found two handguns and over 1,000 unlabeled pills.
Fernandez was charged with second and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Fernandez was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
