Saturday February 17, 2024 – Light snow showers overnight produced small accumulation totals across the Rochester region, and more snow is expected through the morning on Saturday. A cold front will cross the region in the morning and, with an increase in northwesterly wind, lake effect snow will pick back up in the front’s wake. Initially, just 1-2 inches will fall. With additional lake effect, accumulations will reach the 3-5″ range on Saturday. As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 4pm on Saturday.
