Three arrested after carjacking, police chase ends on West Ridge Road

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two men and a juvenile were arrested Wednesday after a police chase involving a stolen car.

According to investigators, the vehicle involved was stolen in a carjacking. Officers saw the car around 4:15 p.m. on Hudson Avenue and tried to pull it over. Police say the vehicle sped away instead.

Police said they gave chase until the car stopped on West Ridge Road near the 390 on ramp. Three people were arrested after a foot chase — a 23-year-old Rochester man, a 22-year-old Rochester man, and a boy from Greece.

West Ridge Road was briefly closed for the investigation, but has since reopened.
