ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department’s Bomb Squad is investigating a damaged vehicle in the area of Backus Street and Emerson Street.
RPD said they responded to the area for the report of a gunshot, but determined there was none. They found a vehicle damaged, which was consistent with the use of an incendiary device.
No injuries were reported, but the Bomb Squad was called to the area to investigate the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
