Man arrested after Lincoln St. shooting left victim with serious injuries

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been arrested for a shooting on Lincoln Street that left a victim seriously injured.

On September 8, police said a man in his 30s was shot at a home on Lincoln Street. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was determined to have life-altering injuries.

Investigators said the occupants of the Lincoln Street home were involved in an argument at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the argument, police say Rashad Coe, 33, went to the house with a handgun and fired multiple rounds, hitting the victim at least once.

Coe was arrested in Henrietta last Thursday. He was charged with first-degree assault and second-and-third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
