The Mall at Greece Ridge is adding two new dining options and welcoming back two stores.
Tropical Smoothie Café, which serves made-to-order smoothies, wraps, flatbread sandwiches and bowls, will open later this year in a 2,584-square-foot space next to King Crab on State Street, mall owner Wilmorite announced in a statement Friday.
Hot Pot 585, an all-you-can-eat restaurant that blends traditional hot pot and Korean barbecue, will open next year in a 5,260-square-foot location in the mall’s food court. Locally owned by the proprietors of King Crab, it will serve lunch and dinner and have a full bar.
Charlotte Russe, which sells trendy clothing, footwear and accessories for young women, will open in early 2025 in 7,117 square feet of space across from Ardene. The retailer previously had a store at the Greece mall, but it closed in 2019 amid a bankruptcy filing.
Also returning to the mall later this year in its previous 8,090-square-foot space near Entrance 6 is rue21. The company closed all its stores , including three in the Rochester region, in May after entering bankruptcy. Now its new owner, Toronto-based YM, which also owns Charlotte Russe, is now reopening some locations.
