Two-year-old dead, twin in guarded condition after ‘suspicious incident’ in Hilton

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An investigation is underway after a two-year-old boy died in Hilton and another was hospitalized in what deputies called a “suspicious incident.”

News 8 was told at the scene that first responders were called to Parkwood Lane around 5:40 a.m. The two-year-old boy was declared dead while his twin brother is in guarded condition.

Deputies confirmed the four other occupants in the house — the mother, father, and two siblings — were not impacted. They added carbon monoxide was not a factor and there were no drugs in the home, but there was no threat to the public.

The investigation into their deaths is ongoing. News 8 is working to gather more details about the incident. This story will be updated as more information is revealed.
