Man indicted in Rochester corner store murder case

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tony Brown, 47, has been indicted on murder and weapons charges after being accused of shooting and killing Ali Saleh, 30, at minimart on Clifford Avenue last month.

A grand jury handed up the indictment this week that included the charges of murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

Suspect in corner store murder pleads not guilty

Police say Brown walked into the store around 6 pm on March 23 and shot Saleh 4 times, perhaps in retaliation for a fight inside the store a few days prior – a fight Saleh’s friends say Saleh had nothing to do with.
