ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Rochester Police have recovered a body from the Genesee River near Andrews Street Bridge.
According to RPD, officers responded to the area around 1:45 p.m. for the report of a man in the water who went under and has not resurfaced.
The RPD SCUBA team later recovered the body of an adult, Police confirmed.
RPD said they are working to identify the person and notify the family. The circumstances leading to this person entering the river is under investigation…
