A man is in custody following a shooting and standoff late Tuesday night at a multi-family home on Norton Street, according to the Rochester Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to 234 Norton St. about 11:15 p.m. on April 15 for a report of a person shot. The 911 caller reported that a downstairs neighbor came upstairs looking for drugs and then allegedly shot their friend, possibly twice. The caller later said they were unsure whether anyone was actually hit, according to police.
