UPDATE: Two people taken to hospital, one to jail after crash on Holt Road and Route 104

WEBSTER, N.Y. — Two people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and a third to Monroe County Jail after a crash Friday afternoon near the intersection of Route 104 and Holt Road in Webster, involving two cars on Friday afternoon.

The front end of a white sedan was badly damaged, and a Ford’s right side was crumpled with the windshield blown out.

According to Webster Police, it started with a larceny at a business in Webster Towne Plaza at around 2:35 p.m., with the suspects reportedly leaving in a white Toyota Camry with stolen items. State Police located the vehicle, which ran a red light at Holt Road and Route 104, colliding with another vehicle and causing it to overturn, Webster Police said.
