GATES, N.Y. — Gates Police are looking for whoever shot two people in the parking lot of Tinseltown Movie Theater on Friday morning.
Officers responded to the parking lot on Buffalo Road shortly after 1 a.m. after getting 911 calls. They performed first aid on both victims before ambulance crews and Gates Fire Department crews arrived. The victims, who are in their late teens and early twenties, were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Gates Police say that New York State troopers, Monroe County sheriff’s deputies, and Ogden Police helped with crowd control during the response. Gates Police Chief Robert Long said there was a crowd of about 100 people outside the theater at the time the shots went off…
