A Fairport man was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he was found driving while intoxicated through Penn Yan streets.
Authorities reported that Timothy W. Driscoll, 66, was stopped around 12:30 a.m. after officers observed his vehicle swerving on Wagener Street and Elm Street and failing to use a turn signal.
According to the Penn Yan Police Department, Driscoll displayed several signs of intoxication during the traffic stop. He failed a series of standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. A chemical breath test later revealed his blood alcohol content to be .14%.
Driscoll was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, failing to use a turn signal, and two counts of failure to keep right. He was issued traffic tickets and released to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date…
