Rochester, N.Y. — Volunteers from more than 200 workplaces and local organizations participated in the 31st annual United Way Day of Caring, dedicating their time to beautifying the Rochester region.
The event saw volunteers gather at the Memorial Art Gallery before dispersing to various sites to complete hundreds of projects to enhance the community.
“We have set a record this year for the number of volunteers,” said Vince Lecee, Key Bank and 2025 United Way campaign chair. “We’ve got 6,400 people across greater Rochester who are at sites like this here at the Susan B. Anthony House out volunteering, helping out the non-profit community here in Rochester.”…
