Rochester residents demand bridge safety improvements, honor missing child

Rochester, N.Y. — Community members gathered at Rochester’s City Hall on Thursday, participating in a sit-in to advocate for enhanced bridge safety.

Organizers of the event stopped cars to request signatures for a petition aimed at increasing the height of railings on bridges throughout the city.
