Rochester Fringe Festival reveals 2025 schedule

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Fringe Festival has revealed the full line-up for 2025!

Over 250 shows and 650 performances will be taking place across 30 venues at the Fringe Festival, which will be held in Downtown Rochester from September 9 through September 20. Tickets for all of the events are now on sale!

Headlining the festival this year is Comedian and TV Host Chelsea Handler. Other performances you can expect to see include:

  • eVenti Verticali’s SPHERE: A performing troupe that showcases a spectacle known as SPHERE, a mesmerizing light show with music, acrobatics, and a large sphere suspended 60 feet in the air.
  • TRACES: Part of the Théâtre de L’Entrouvert, this show is a public conversation of sculpture, sound, and movement to tell a story about individual journeys and collective humanity.
  • Cirque du Fringe: Claws Out: This show features performers as cats taking part in aerials and acrobatics. Cocktails will be served in the Spiegeltent.
  • Submergence: Thousands of individual points of suspended light are used to create the feeling of presence and movement. The 12-minute piece features an abstract narrative through light, sound, and technology.

Other events the festival highlights include Silent Disco, a drunken performance of Titus Andronicus, and The Event, where a man tries to disappear while remaining in full sight…
