A Rochester-area man was taken into custody in Waterloo after failing to appear in court on assault and harassment charges, according to police.
The Waterloo Police Department reported the arrest of 36-year-old John L. Finocchario of Irondequoit on July 14 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Finocchario was wanted on a bench warrant related to previous charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment.
In addition to the original charges, Finocchario now faces a new charge of third-degree bail jumping. He is being held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility pending arraignment…
