ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been sentenced after a stabbing on an RTS bus seriously injured a teenager.
Nahziiryahzihn Ali was convicted last May of first-degree assault and second-degree assault. For the first-degree assault, he was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison and five years of post-release supervision. For the second, he was sentenced to four years in prison and three years of post-release supervision concurrent.
In October 2024, a bus was traveling on Long Pond Road before 7 p.m. when two riders fought each other. The victim, who was 15 years old at the time, was stabbed with a knife and was seriously injured…
