ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Netflix released a documentary about the infamous “Balloon Boy” hoax — and News 8’s Adam Chodak was featured in it.
The documentary “Trainwreck: Balloon Boy” covered the 2009 incident in Fort Collins, Colorado, where parents Richard and Mayumi Heene called 911 and claimed their six-year-old son Falcon was in a helium-filled balloon floating through the sky. It was revealed their child was not in the balloon and was hiding in the home.
