Niger Johnson found guilty of reckless endangerment, illegal gun possession in 2024 Maplewood Park shooting that killed two

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man has been found guilty in connection with last summer’s mass shooting at Maplewood Park.

Niger Johnson was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. Prosecutors said he fired into a crowd during a cookout on July 28, 2024.
