Three teens face charges after pursuit, search involving 4 police agencies

WEBSTER, N.Y. — Three teenage boys face charges after a pursuit Thursday involving four different police agencies.

The pursuit started when, at about 3:30 p.m., an Irondequoit Police officer learned about a stolen car with three Black teenage males in it, who were trying to steal another car in the parking lot of Home Depot. According to Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters, the officer saw the vehicle and started his lights and siren; the driver sped away eastbound on East Ridge Road, continuing to Culver Road and then Route 104.

When speeds reached 100 mph over the Bay Bridge, Peters says he ordered the chase terminated, due to speed and the volume of traffic…
