Unlicensed driver arrested with stolen loaded handgun in Rochester

A Rochester man is facing multiple felony charges after state police say they found him driving without a license and in possession of a stolen, loaded handgun.

The arrest happened around 10 p.m. on August 17 during a traffic detail on Clinton Avenue, according to a press release from New York State Police.

Troopers pulled over a gray Honda sedan for several vehicle and traffic violations. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Kemuel Ovidio Garcia Alvarez, was the only person in the car and did not have a valid driver’s license…
