HILTON, N.Y. – RTS announced it is eliminating the only bus route in the village of Hilton due to cost concerns. The decision to cut Route 92, which runs from the Eastman Avenue Connection Hub to the Clarkson Highway Department stop, was made without consulting the village, officials said.
Village Trustee Andrew Fowler expressed concerns about the lack of communication from RTS.
“They apologized… they left the village of Hilton out of all communication… the a village of about 6,000 that falls right on this bus route… in the dark completely,” Fowler said…
