RPD: Shots fired during home invasion on Avenue D

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a resident of a home on Avenue D fired shots at a suspect who broke in on Friday morning.

RPD says several people who live at the home fought against the 34-year-old man during the home invasion. The gunfire didn’t hit anyone but the suspect was taken to the hospital to treat minor injuries.
