ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two teens are recovering after they were found with gunshot wounds in a car on East Avenue, a case that ended up almost on the doorstep of News10NBC.
Rochester Police were out in force on Wednesday night in downtown. Officers responded to the area of 1 East Ave. for a report of shots fired around 8 p.m. and found evidence of a shooting there, and shortly found two gunshot victims in a car two blocks away. Police said the two men — ages 17 and 19, — were in a car near a group of people at 1 East Ave. when someone walking nearby on foot shot at the car, hitting them both. The victims drove away and were found by police.
