ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A Rochester City Court judge is under fire for releasing a suspect in a violent domestic violence case just hours after another judge had set bail.
25-year-old Jeremiah Black of Rochester is accused of violating an order of protection and choking the woman who the order was intended to protect. In her statement to police, the victim said she had to push an air conditioner out of the window and climb out to try and get away from Black during the attack. She said Black followed her outside and it was only after neighbors intervened that she was able to escape.
Rochester Police found and arrested Black on Monday evening and brought him in for his arraignment…
