State steps in at troubled Rochester nursing home

After nearly two years of serious violations, Waterview Heights Nursing Center is under new management, according to WHAM.

The Beach Avenue facility remains on a federal watchlist for poor care and recently racked up 28 violations — including three for actual harm and six marked “immediate jeopardy.” The state health department appointed a temporary manager to oversee improvements.
