Man & woman faces charges after removal of 50 cats from Fairport home

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — After rescuing multiple cats from a Fairport home last month, Lollypop Farm announced the arrest of a man and a woman.

Lollypop Farm says the owners of the Kreag Road home, George Meyer and Pamela Meyer, have been arrested and charged with multiple misdemeanors. It was alleged that they failed to provide the animals with proper food and drinks, among other violations.

This stemmed from an investigation on August 20 when Lollypop Farm officers assisted local law enforcement with a search of the home. 50 cats were removed from the home after investigators declared the conditions of the home required their removal.

All of the cats rescued from the home were taken to Lollypop Farm for evaluations and observation…
