Greece police searching for Kwik Fill armed robbery suspect

GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — The Greece Police Department is working to identify a suspect in an armed robbery at a gas station.

According to police, on Sunday, officers responded to the Kwik Fill located at 2734 Dewey Avenue for a report of an armed robbery at 9:19 p.m.

Surveillance footage of the incident shows a suspect, a white man, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blank pants, and boots, entering the store with a hammer in hand. Police say the suspect was engaged in an altercation with a store employee before he fled the scene in possession of an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The suspect was reportedly last seen fleeing from the store on foot towards the 200 block of Bennington Drive…
