ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Local police agencies are remembering the service and sacrifice of Rochester Police Officer Daryl Pierson. Wednesday marks 11 years since he was shot and killed in the line of duty.
Officer Pierson was shot while chasing a suspect on Hudson Avenue on September 3, 2014. He died just over an hour later at Rochester General Hospital.
