ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A chicken coop on Avery Street has sparked ongoing disputes between neighbors, leading to city involvement.

For the past year and a half, some residents have been upset by the noise and mess caused by the chickens. The city filed a civil suit against the chicken owner three weeks ago.
