ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Inaugural Conference on Abolition was held on Saturday.
The event was curated by Free the People Rochester as a space for Rochester residents, including community organizers, individuals impacted by state violence, and allies, to gather. During the conference, attendees were provided the opportunity to share experiences and discuss themes of “resistance and resilience in the fight to end police violence” and solutions for community safety.
