Driver charged with DWI after crash on Buffalo Road

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A driver is facing charges after a crash on Buffalo Road on Thursday night, according to the Ogden Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 8:30 p.m. and found a Jeep that had gone off the road, over a guardrail, and onto a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle was unoccupied at the time.

According to investigators, a witness reported the Jeep was headed westbound when it passed two vehicles, entered the wrong lane, and left the roadway.

Officers said the driver showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after field sobriety testing. Police reported the driver’s blood alcohol content was 0.21%, more than twice the legal limit…
