PENFIELD, N.Y. (WROC) — A driver was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on Atlantic Avenue in Penfield, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died from injuries sustained in the crash. Their identity has not yet been released.
The crash prompted a several-hour investigation, during which Atlantic Avenue was closed between Five Mile Line Road and Baird Road. Power outages were also reported at several traffic lights along the road…
